Yogi may have been a cartoon character, but a few of the clever bear’s quotes fall into company with the likes of Teddy R, or Fred Bear.
Speaking of bears, this first Hunt Series hosts Michael Sims, who hails from everywhere thanks to not only his service to our country, but that of his wife; both serving the world’s finest Navy.
This two part series is ALL about Michael’s first spring bear hunt AND extended trip into the backcountry. Part 2 is a recap of the hunt, what the guys experienced, lessons learned and potential future plans.
Of course, there are a few rabbit holes, especially towards the end of the show. Being this episode was recorded in the spring, and spring means turkey season, Aaron and Michael become derailed on the topic of turkeys.
