A two year journey culminated on the Ritter Ranch, on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, opening weekend of the 2024 big game season.
East Coast Nick succeeded in harvesting the following "first's":
- First archery harvest
- First archery deer
- First velvet buck
- First deer harvested on the Ritter Ranch
- First deer loaded in the new UTV
- First deer hoisted by the new Kubota tractor
Not just hours of preparation were involved in this story. Not just days, either. Months! All the layers involved in successfully and safely executing multiple backcountry scouting and hunting trips; Nick is blessed while sharing a blind with your's truly.
