Hunt Series: Non-Resident Archery Elk - Part 6 of 7

Part 6 of 7 brings a new twist to this hunt series...

Chris Dunlap is no longer able to make the hunt. LIMB-itless Outdoors is off to Idaho for a backcountry hunt with his cousin Michael, who is also an up and coming videographer and film producer. 

The result has changed some travel plans, how and where meat will be processed and transported, and how the elk will be engaged with. Not the adjustments desired, but just like adjusting thermals or prevailing winds, we shift on the fly and make things happen.

Michael has been hammering three different Phelp's cow calls and I have been conversing with the young camera man about setups and how or when to call. This will be Michael's first elk hunt and backcountry adventure.

During this episode, I recap a few pieces of new gear I am taking into the backcountry this season. YouTuber's will visually see most of the gear as I share them during the video.

No matter how you cut this pie (I dislike cake), we are going to come out the wilderness with some incredible memories.
